It’s a strange time for the world, and Chorbie is here to ensure that things are just a little less odd for its customers. We know Spring is the usual time to perform home services. We’ve often called this seasonal boom, “spring cleaning.” While this time has come upon us, the Coronavirus is changing how we all live and work. The good news is that Chorbie is considered an “essential business,” so we are still able to keep your home safe and functional.
What Home Services Do You Need Right Now
Year-round, and especially in Spring, we typically see requests for home services like fence repair, gutter cleaning, power washing, pressure washing, cleaning services, junk removal, and handyman services. You very well can postpone some of these tasks, but don’t neglect some of the others for the health and safety of your family. Here are the top home services, we think you shouldn’t delay.
Gutter Cleaning – This chore reduces the number of pests and rodents harboring around your home, which can be hazardous to your health and safety. Additionally, despite Coronavirus, the rain will still come, and rain must run off your home as designed to prevent issues like erosion.
Junk Removal – Junk removal is essential because it prevents insects, rodents, and reptiles from entering sneakily into your home. Furthermore, if dust can build up on unused items, and can cause lung issues along with other sanitation issues.
Fence Repair – If you see an increase in rodents and rabbits around your home, you may need to fix any fencing issues. This repair is essential as the intent of fences is to keep wildlife from easily entering your property – as well as to enhance privacy.
How Chorbie’s Home Services Are Adapting To The Coronavirus
Chorbie is taking steps to ensure the safety of its staff and clients. We take pride in making sure that our employees are following all CDC guidelines and recommendations. Below we explain how.
Reduction – We are trying to reduce the number of face-to-face interactions with employees and clients. We do as much communication via telecommunications as possible. We are also practicing social distancing with clients and other employees. Luckily most services can be performed by one person.
New Strategies – For junk removals, we are encouraging people to place stuff outside. If we need to enter, we will use masks, gloves, and shoe protectors to reduce the likelihood of our team catching the virus.
Increased Personal Hygiene – We are in the habit of washing our hands more often, including after touching a gas pump, receiving food from a drive-through restaurant, and if we happen to shake a client’s hand.
Stopping the Spread – Employees, whether it’s them or one of the people living with them, are not allowed to come work for at least 14 days if anyone has shown symptoms of the Coronavirus.
Chorbie’s Mission Revised
