Visit the Dallas Arboretum in Fall Graphic

Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum

As the deluge of hot summer days comes to an end, the days of pumpkins and fall harvests begin. To celebrate this occasion, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden transforms into a grandiose pumpkin patch.

This year, 2019, the Dallas Arboretum curators have gone with the theme, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown™.” All throughout their Pumpkin Village, you’ll find many displays that honor the classic comic strip, Peanuts. You’ll also find hay mazes and activities for your kids to play in and around. And when you are ready, you’ll be able to buy a pumpkin from the prominent pumpkin patch.

Beyond just a great place to spend the afternoon, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is a prime spot to grab your fall family photos. There are plenty of displays for you and your family to huddle together for that exceptional photo. If you intend to take family photos, we do recommend going on a school day. This attraction is so popular that you will need some patience to capture great photos when the park is busy. Once you’ve finished exploring and taking that perfect photo, grab yourself a pumpkin spice latte and enjoy the rest of the Arboretum.

For a fun family event, we recommend visiting Autumn at the Arboretum, September 21 through October 31, 2019. Pre-purchase your tickets at to avoid the long lines at the gate. For more ticket pricing and information about the Dallas Arboretum, please visit
